My Experience on the “Décimas” Podcast: Art, Motors, and Sports as Inspiration
Share
Two years ago, I had the privilege of being a guest on the “Décimas” podcast with Claudia Lifter, a space dedicated to stories of creativity, movement, and overcoming challenges. During our conversation, I shared how automotive art has become the core of my life and how sports have been a vital source of inspiration in my creative process.
Looking back, it was an enriching experience that allowed me to reflect on how art, sports, and motors are interconnected, forming a unique language of design, emotion, and energy.
Art and Motors: Masterpieces in Motion
During the episode, Claudia and I discussed something that constantly inspires me: how cars and motorcycles are far more than just machines—they are true works of art in motion. Their lines, curves, and technical details not only tell stories but also carry the energy I strive to capture in every painting.
We also explored how each piece I create, whether a custom commission or a collaboration with brands like BMW Motorrad, Porsche, and Mercedes AMG, aims to go beyond depicting a vehicle. My goal is to convey the passion, speed, and freedom these machines represent.
Sports: A Spark of Creativity in My Daily Life
Something not everyone knows is how deeply sports influence my life and my artistic process. During our conversation, I reflected on how the energy and movement that sports bring are essential to my creativity. Whether it’s running, training, or connecting with nature through physical activity, I often find ideas and shapes that later translate into my artwork.
For instance, when I run, I feel a direct connection to rhythm and cadence, which often inspires my brushstrokes. It’s in those moments that abstract ideas transform into tangible concepts. Sports provide not only mental clarity but also the discipline and focus needed to tackle every artistic project.
Art and Sports: A Bridge Between Emotion and Design
We also touched on how both art and sports share a similar philosophy: pushing boundaries, adapting to challenges, and finding beauty in effort. This parallel has been key to my work, enabling me to create pieces that blend the mechanical with the organic, fusing power with sensitivity.
This connection has not only served as a personal inspiration but also as the driving force behind collaborations with major brands and the unique stories I bring to life through my paintings.
Reflections Two Years Later
Looking back, my participation in “Décimas” was more than just a podcast appearance. It was a moment to inspire and be inspired, to share my story with an audience passionate about art, motors, and creativity. That experience remains a powerful reminder that passion, combined with hard work and authenticity, can lead to extraordinary places.
